In April, a Woodland man called police to say movie star Brad Pitt had called him from an unlisted number and threatened to kill him. The man wasn’t sure if it really was Pitt, but he wanted an officer to sit in his driveway just in case.

• A Kelso man called police in January to say he’d found a used condom hanging on his outside doorknob. He said he wanted police to be aware of the situation.

• A Kelso man called police in March to say someone had left a bowl of soup and a spoon in his mailbox. He wanted it reported “in case there were any other issues.”

• In March a Longview man called police asking advice for how “to get his neighbor to stop urinating out of his window.” The man didn’t want the police involved, he said, just some advice.
