When can you video the police?

Sixty-four percent of adults in the United States own smartphones, according to the Pew Research Center. Four years ago, about half that number did.

Many depend on their smartphones for online access, whether they’re applying for jobs, checking their bank accounts, paying bills, following breaking news events or sharing photos and videos. Never has it been this fast and easy to take a photo or video and share it online for everyone to see.

Man Named Bacon Arrested in Fight Over Sausage!

A New Jersey man whose last name is Bacon was arrested after a dispute over sausage, according to police.

Thomas Bacon, 19, allegedly attacked another person at a Madison home on May 12 for eating the last piece of sausage, NJ.com reports.

Man Stabs Wife To Death While 7 Kids Are At Home

A man stabbed his wife to death after he slapped one of their seven children for playing videogames and she confronted him about it, police said Friday.

Goodyear police said the children witnessed at least part of the Thursday night attack, and a 14-year-old daughter called 911 to frantically plead for help.

The husband also called 911 after the attack, reportedly crying “hysterically,” apologizing and saying he’d lost his mind and stabbed his wife, police said in a court document. The document identified the husband as 37-year-old John Leo Davis and the wife as Michele Davis. Police said she was 35…

Trans woman wins $15,000 after cops called her a man! WTF!?

VANCOUVER — Vancouver’s police force has been ordered to pay a trans woman $15,000 for repeatedly referring to her as a man and refusing to provide her post-op treatment while she was in jail. A B.C. Human Rights Tribunal decision posted Tuesday described how Angela Dawson had completed gender-reassignment surgery in March 2010 before several encounters with police officers in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside. Police find meth lab in Marathon parking lot


When Lafayette police were called to investigate a report of subjects “shooting up” in the 9th and Ferry Marathon Station parking lot at about 7:19 p.m. Sunday, drugs and paraphernalia weren’t the only things they found. According to a press release from LPD, officers also found an active meth lab. The Indiana State Police Meth Suppression Team was called in to dismantle the lab, and two suspects were arrested.

Sabrina Allen and Michael Budde face multiple charges, including manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. They were transported to the Tippecanoe County Jail, according to the release.

‘Jerry Springer producer’ arrested for MURDER of her deaf sister – police think suicide note is …

A producer who worked on Jerry Springer has been arrested for the murder of her deaf sister.

Jill Blackstone, who also produced hit US programmes such as Sally Jessy Raphael and Rosie, reportedly called police on Monday and told officers her sister Wendy and three dead dogs were in her garage.

Body cam video shows Dallas police shooting mentally ill man holding screwdriver!

Newly released body camera footage shows Dallas police officers fatally shooting 38-year-old Jason Harrison, a mentally ill man who held a screwdriver while standing in his doorway, in June.

Harrison’s mother had called police on June 14, 2014, for assistance in escorting her son — who was bipolar and schizophrenic but off of his medication — to an area hospital, the Dallas Morning News reported. She had informed the dispatcher of Harrison’s mental disorders, details of which were given to officers, according to the Dallas Morning News.

Police called to student ‘robbery’ film shoot

Officers responded to reports of a man wearing a balaclava and brandishing a handgun inside a restaurant on The Promenade.

They approached and ordered him to drop the weapon.

However, the situation “quickly deescalated” when it emerged the heist was being staged by local students from Ulster University.
