A Pennsylvania teenager has been charged with murder after authorities say he took a selfie with the body of a 16-year-old boy after shooting him to death.

The alleged selfie, showing Morton posing in front of Mangan’s body was obtained by police after a woman called police saying her son had received the selfie via “Snapchat.” That woman told police the messages received via Snapchat by her son read: “I told you I cleaned up the shells,” and “Ryan was not the last one.”

Peaceful Protest Against Police Brutality Turns Into Night Of Violence

The situation in Ferguson has settled down following a night of destruction. There is no more systematic looting, but small groups are still casing stores, according to St. Louis County Police spokesman Brian Schellman. “When it happened, it happened very quickly.” Around 300 officers were involved in the response as the violence spread quickly into nearby communities including Jennings and possibly Dellwood. It could turn out to be one of the most violent nights in recent St. Louis history. “I’ve been a policeman for 12 years, all with the St. Louis County Police Department. I haven’t seen anything remotely close,”

Fatal Shooting Sparks Calls to ‘Kill the Police’

Police shot and killed a male at an apartment complex in Ferguson, Mo., today, sparking demonstrations with angry protesters shouting “Kill the police,” and a rash of online outrage.

Twitter users claimed that the male was 17 years old and unarmed, but police declined to give out any details of the incident this evening, and a woman identified the victim as her 18-year-old grandson.

A crowd of a couple hundred people were gathered around the crime scene in Ferguson, a city of about 21,000 residents a few miles north of St. Louis, when St. Louis County investigators arrived, chanting “Kill the police,” and other vulgarities, Schellman said.
