Porn star star Asia Carrera was arrested last week in Utah for drunk driving, CBS affiliate KENS 5 Eyewitness News confirmed Sunday, Mar. 8, and she confessed that she had taken her daughter to school while inebriated.
Carrera (nee Jessica Steinhauser), 41, was discovered sound asleep on a couch in the office of the Washington County School District in St. George, Utah, when police officers were notified last Thursday.
Upon arrival, authorities smelled alcohol on Carrera’s breath. She told the officer that she had driven her daughter to the office for testing, then attempted to flee the scene. The former adult film star then failed multiple field sobriety tests and blew nearly twice the legal blood alcohol level permitted in the state of Utah.
